Paws & Patch carrot flakes - gently processed for healthy dog nutrition

The dried and pre-cooked carrot flakes from Paws & Patch are an ideal addition to home-cooked food, BARF rations or a light diet. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, vitamin A, pectin and minerals, making them a valuable, gluten-free vegetable supplement. Thanks to the gentle steam cooking method, the flakes retain their natural flavour and important nutrients.

Feeding recommendation

Soak the carrot flakes in a ratio of 2:1 (water to flakes) in hot water for approx. 10 minutes. Leave to cool after soaking and add to the rest of the food. For sensitive dogs, the flakes can be pureed.

• Puppies 80 per cent meat and 20 per cent vegetables, rice, fruit or herbs (swollen)
• Adult dogs 65 per cent meat and 35 per cent vegetables, rice, fruit or herbs (swollen)
• Seniors 50 per cent meat and 50 per cent vegetables, rice, fruit or herbs (swollen)

The total ration per day depends on the weight and activity of the dog (20-40 g of food per kg body weight per day).
