Application

Squeeze out the loop and place it around the tick. Then press the round tip lightly into the skin as close to the tick as possible. Release the button and point the pin upwards, keeping the tip pressed into the skin. Twist the pin between your fingers (one full turn) in any direction. The tick is now detached. Disinfect the bite site. To kill the tick, the tip of the tick loop can then be lightly tapped against a hard object. (Hold the button firmly)
